These terms and your agreement

What follows is a plain-language summary of how we work. Every booking is governed by a signed event agreement; where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement is what counts. Nothing here is legal advice.

Booking and payment

  • A signed agreement and a 35% retainer reserve your date. Until both exist, the date remains available to others.
  • The balance is due 14 days before the event.
  • Prices published on this site are the prices we charge. Add-ons are published on the pricing page.
  • Travel inside Orange County and Los Angeles is included. Travel beyond is quoted at cost, with no mark-up.
  • We do not bill idle time, under any circumstances.

The guarantee

If we deliver the wrong approved overlay, miss the stated delivery window, or fail to present a working booth at the contracted start time, that package is refunded in full. This is a term of the agreement, not a discretionary gesture.

Postponement and cancellation

  • You may move the date once, at no charge, if you tell us more than 30 days before and we have the new date available.
  • Cancellation more than 90 days before: the retainer is retained, nothing further is owed.
  • Cancellation inside 90 days: the retainer is retained and 50% of the balance is due, because the date can no longer realistically be resold.
  • If we cannot perform — equipment failure, illness, anything on our side — you receive a full refund of everything paid, and we will help you find a replacement vendor.

What we need from you

  • A 10 × 10 ft footprint with 8 ft of overhead clearance, and one dedicated 20A circuit within 50 ft.
  • Reasonable load-in access and a crew call time agreed with the venue in advance.
  • Approval of the overlay and color program in writing before the event date.
  • Level, covered ground for any outdoor setup, and an agreed plan if weather turns.

Ownership and use

You own the material we capture at your event and may use it however you like. We retain the right to use our own set, lighting and technical designs. We will not publish images of you or your guests without written permission from the host.

Liability

We carry general liability insurance and will name your venue as additional insured on request. Our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for failures caused by the venue, the weather, power supplied to us, or events outside our reasonable control — though in each of those cases we will do everything practical to deliver anyway.

Governing law

These terms and any agreement made under them are governed by the laws of the State of California.
