If you only add one

Add the bubbles.

Two hundred dollars, and it changes every single clip.

A 360 clip is a person turning in a dark room. The camera is moving, but nothing else in frame is — which is why so many of them look flat no matter how good the lighting is. Bubbles put something between the lens and the subject that drifts, catches the light and reads beautifully at a quarter speed.

Haze does the same job for beam light, and CO₂ does it for one spectacular second. But if the budget allows exactly one upgrade, it is the bubble machine, every time. It is included on Premier and Black Label for that reason.

Be careful with

Two we will talk you out of.

Haze, without checking first

Low-lying haze looks superb and sets off smoke alarms in venues that have not disabled them for the evening. We need written venue approval, and we would rather skip it than evacuate your reception.

A second platform, under 400 guests

Two booths at a 200-person event splits the queue, and the queue is half the entertainment. Below about 400 guests, one booth and an extra hour serves you better for a third of the price.

Tell us the room and we will tell you what it needs.

Most events need one or two of these, not six. Send the date and the venue and we will say which.
